This event provides parents with useful information for supporting their son or daughter as they make important decisions about courses and careers in their senior years of school.

The May evening focused on gaining admission to university, courses available at QUT, helping students with course and career decisions, study costs, and sources of information available for students and parents.

A second Parent Information Evening will be held in September addressing upgrading pathways to university, scholarships, support services for students at QUT and transition to university.

Parents are most welcome to bring their son or daughter with them.

Parking and map

Free parking is available for the event in F block. Enter the driveway from Boundary Road and follow the student ambassador instructions. Please refer to the campus map for directions and the location of F block. On-street parking may also be available. Please be aware that on-street parking is regulated by Brisbane City Council and a two-hour time limit applies from 7am-6pm unless otherwise signed.

QUT’s Course and Careers Day also includes special seminars for parents. Course and Careers Day will be held on Sunday 27 July at Kelvin Grove campus, and gives prospective students and their parents the opportunity to talk to staff and students, attend information seminars and experience campus life with tours of the campus and facilities and live entertainment by QUT students.
